At Feather and Twigs, we’re always on the lookout for makers who blend heart, heritage, ethics and a healthy dose of joy—and Best Years fits that bill beautifully. With over a decade of experience in crafting toys that are as ethical as they are enchanting, Best Years has earned a beloved place in the world of play.
Best known as the first to introduce knitted dinosaur toys to the world (yes, really!), Best Years has since built a delightful collection of knitted and crochet toys, perfect for every age—from tiny fingers to dinosaur-loving grown-ups. Their pieces are irresistibly charming, but what truly sets them apart is the story behind each one.
Founded by a team of parents who wanted an alternative to mass-produced soft toys, Best Years is rooted in a deep respect for craftsmanship and conscious sourcing. Their toys are lovingly created in partnership with trusted factories and through long-standing collaborations—like their ten-year relationship with Pebble’s fair trade cooperatives in rural communities, which has helped support thousands of fairly paid and flexible jobs for local women.
As their collection has grown, so too has their commitment to natural and sustainable materials. From organic cotton cuddle companions to handmade natural rubber teethers and fair trade wooden toys, Best Years continues to lead with integrity and imagination.
Safety is never an afterthought. Every toy meets CE and UKCA standards, is machine washable, and designed with care—no bead eyes, no shortcuts. Because for Best Years, toys should be as safe and dependable as they are magical.
We’re thrilled to welcome Best Years to our Feather and Twigs family. Their creations aren’t just toys—they’re companions for childhood, steeped in meaning and made to last.

We’re delighted to introduce a new handcrafter to our Feather and Twigs family—Pam Peters Designs, a vibrant fused glass studio rooted in the heart of North Wales. Pam’s journey began in 2014, in a humble ‘Wendy House’ nestled in her garden, where she and a friend first experimented with glass, drawing inspiration from the surrounding wildlife and natural beauty. What started as a creative spark soon blossomed into a flourishing business.
