Our Story
Hello, we’re Catherine and Vinny — the heart behind Feather & Twigs.
What began as a simple idea has grown into something deeply personal: a quietly luxurious space built on warmth, craftsmanship and connection. Our intention has always been to seek out beautifully made, handcrafted pieces — created slowly, thoughtfully, and with genuine care by skilled artisan makers.
Every item we choose carries a story, and sharing that story matters to us. The provenance, the passion, the people behind each piece — these are what transform something from simply “nice” into something truly meaningful and memorable.
We are continually inspired by the rich heritage of Britain — its landscapes, traditions and timeless artistry. Our collection reflects this, bringing together the very best of British: organic, sustainable and ethically sourced products, alongside unique art and handcrafted gifts that feel both nostalgic and enduring.
Nature has always been close to our hearts. The beauty of the countryside, the quiet rhythm of the seasons, and our love for animals all influence what we bring into our shop — pieces that feel calming, grounding and beautifully connected to the natural world.
As Lancashire born and bred, Croston is more than just our home — it’s part of our story. Having lived here for over 20 years, we’ve come to treasure the village, its surroundings and, most importantly, its people. Feather & Twigs is our way of giving something back — a space where our local community, and those further afield, can discover artisan products that feel heartfelt, personal and made to be cherished.

About Croston Feather & Twigs
Catherine has a front of house role in the shop with Hayley and will liaise with the artisans, and will handle all social media.
Vinny is a craftsman working with both metal and wood, and as a qualified Coachbuilder, using these skills, he hopes to build and restore furniture and handcrafted items for the home.
Both keen travellers both abroad within the UK we love to meet the skilled artisans where understand the story behind the products we sell and add small scale handcrafted, organic and sustainable products to our portfolio. Every product you purchase will be individually hand-wrapped by us with the love and attention it deserves.
We are always on the look out for new artisans and relish any chance to add new products to our range.
